Job summary

Napleton Buick GMC, Crystal Lake, seeks a motivated Service Advisor to thrive in a busy dealership. You will greet customers, perform walkarounds, and write repair orders in Tekion while coordinating with technicians. You will explain inspection findings, verify warranties, and monitor CSI and sales goals.

A minimum of 2 years in a dealership service role and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Tekion and GM Buick/GMC/Chevrolet familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of dealership service advisor experience preferred.
• Track record of strong CSI and sales performance.
• Clear communication and the ability to stay organized in a high-volume drive.
• A valid driver's license.
• Experience with Tekion is a plus. GM (Buick/GMC/Chevrolet) experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, perform vehicle walkarounds, and write accurate repair orders in Tekion.
• Present inspection findings and recommend needed maintenance and repairs, explaining their value clearly.
• Act as the link between customers and technicians, and keep customers updated by phone, text and video throughout the visit.
• Verify warranty, recall and service contract coverage, and process deductibles correctly.
• Hit CSI, hours-per-RO, ELR and sales goals.
