Job summary

Crain Buick GMC of Springdale is seeking a motivated Automotive Service Advisor to bridge customers and our service department, translating vehicle needs into clear explanations while coordinating with technicians for quality repair work.

You will greet customers, document requests, present estimates, and obtain approvals. The role offers a base salary with commissions/bonuses, opportunities for overtime, and a team-oriented environment focused on growth and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive service training is a plus.
• Experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or in automotive customer service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally.
• Document service requests accurately and provide repair recommendations.
• Coordinate with technicians to determine required repairs and time estimates.
• Present service estimates and obtain customer approval.
• Upsell additional services as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and work orders.
• Provide updates to customers during the repair process.
