Vachon Chevrolet Inc. in Brooklyn, CT, is seeking a Service Advisor to support the Service and Parts Director and ensure smooth operation of the Service Department.

This role requires leadership to oversee daily activities, manage staff, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service delivery. You will coordinate workflow with parts and sales, schedule appointments, prepare service orders, and address customer concerns promptly.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive-related education preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive service advising, preferably GM vehicles.
• Proficiency with computer systems and service management software, Reynolds and Reynolds preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily service department activities and coordinate with staff.
• Greet customers and assess vehicle service needs and concerns.
• Explain recommended services and costs clearly to customers.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians for timely completion.
• Prepare detailed service orders and maintain records of customer interactions and vehicle history.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address questions.
• Manage parts ordering and inventory communication to support repairs.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and maintain positive relationships.
• Promote maintenance plans and additional services to benefit customers and the business.
• Contribute to training and development of service staff.
