Job summary

Scranton Chevrolet of Norwich in Norwich, CT, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our busy Service Department. The role focuses on owning the customer experience from write-up to delivery, building long-term relationships, and maximizing service opportunities.

You’ll use modern dealership technology and tools to improve communication and efficiencies, while providing exceptional CSI and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer in a dealership environment
• Strong understanding of dealership service operations and workflows
• Experience managing repair orders from write-up through completion
• Ability to explain technician findings and recommendations clearly to customers

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and establish a professional, trustworthy relationship
• Open, manage, and close repair orders
• Review vehicle history and identify maintenance opportunities
• Explain technician findings and recommended repairs clearly
• Prepare and communicate accurate estimates
• Keep customers informed about repair status and costs
• Coordinate with technicians, dispatch, parts, and Service Management
• Maintain documentation and dealership records
