Responsibilities

• Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer descriptions and inspecting vehicles.
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage from records and papers.
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor; calculating payments.
• Prepares repair orders with symptoms, problems, causes, repairs; records approvals.
• Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return dates; handling questions.
