Qualifications

• Experience as automotive service advisor or similar customer-service role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diagnose vehicle issues through questioning, inspection, and testing.
• Proficiency with service management software and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and listen to vehicle concerns.
• Explain maintenance and repair procedures clearly and professionally.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues via questioning, inspection, or road tests.
• Prepare detailed repair orders based on customer needs and inspection findings.
• Estimate costs for additional repairs not included in the original service order and obtain customer approval before proceeding.
• Advise customers on available services, maintenance schedules, and vehicle care options.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and work performed.
