Job summary

Victory Automotive Group in Charleston, WV is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to serve as the central point of contact for service and repairs, coordinating between customers and technicians and setting expectations for service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year dealer-level or large facility experience, a valid driver’s license, and exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong reading comprehension and basic computer skills.
• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions; lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service for customers in person or by phone.
• Follow up on repair status to meet promised times.
• Explain repairs and manage customer expectations.
• Ensure completed repairs pass quality control and/or road test.
• Maintain knowledge of vehicle operation, warranties, and service information.
• Attend staff meetings and training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
