Job summary

McCarthy Auto Group is seeking a full-time Service Advisor in Overland Park, KS to deliver excellent customer service and translate concerns into detailed service orders. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Preferred qualifications include Reynolds and Reynolds DMS knowledge and 1 year of service writing experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year service writing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong desire to sell.
• Reynolds and Reynolds DMS knowledge preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems preferred but not required.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to customer concerns and write detailed service orders based on customer concerns
• Review vehicle report for recalls that need completed and verify applicable warranty’s
• Answering phones, schedule appointments, review recommended/ upcoming services
• Communicate to technicians throughout the process of repairs to keep customer
• Provide cost estimate of mechanical and maintenance repairs
• Maintain customer satisfaction score at or above dealership standards
