Job summary

Bowser Automotive Inc. is hiring a Service Advisor to bridge customers and service technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to vehicle delivery. You’ll document concerns, walk-arounds, estimates, and updates while coordinating with technicians and handling payments and warranties.

We value strong communication, relationship-building, and a professional appearance. ASE certification is a plus, and experience in automotive dealerships or independent repair facilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive dealership or independent repair facility preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and document vehicle concerns and service requests.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Prepare repair estimates and communicate expected completion times.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and provide updates.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Verify payment methods and administer applicable warranties.
• Test drive vehicles to verify concerns or completed repairs.
• Review completed repairs with customers and ensure a positive delivery experience.
• Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction (CSI) with outstanding service.
• Follow Bowser Automotive safety policies and procedures.
