Job summary

Bowser Chevrolet of Chippewa is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. You will greet customers, identify vehicle needs, coordinate repairs, and deliver vehicles upon completion.

The ideal candidate has automotive service or dealership experience, strong communication and customer service skills, and can clearly explain repair recommendations. Sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in an automobile dealership or independent repair facility.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to drive cars and trucks with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and obtain accurate vehicle and customer information.
• Explain documented automotive needs and recommended repairs to customers clearly.
• Coordinate repairs and communicate estimated completion times to customers.
• Obtain customer authorization for repairs and verify payment method.
• Maintain communication with technicians and update customers on status.
• Review completed repairs with customers at vehicle delivery and ensure CSI goals.
