LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to schedule service work, sell additional services, and build strong customer relationships in a dynamic Michigan-based team. The role emphasizes accurate data collection, clear communication, and professional customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Professional personal appearance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years or more experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CSI rating as directed by service manager.
• Maintain the hours-per-repair-order standard.
• Greet customers in a timely, friendly and professional manner and collect vehicle data.
• Test-drive vehicle as necessary.
• Advise customers on car care per manufacturers' specifications.
• Inspect under-hood for additional repair needs and document findings.
• Provide labor and parts estimates and obtain customer approval.
• Obtain payment method and credit approval as needed.
• Record customer signatures and provide copies of repair orders.
• Follow up on repairs and communicate schedule changes to customers.
• Handle inquiries about work and appointments.
• Deliver vehicle and address questions from customers.
• Maintain relationships to encourage repeats and referrals.
• Keep work and waiting areas clean.
