Job summary

Group 1 Hyundai SouthwestHouston is seeking a Service Advisor to join our high-performing team. Our Service Advisors act as a primary contact for customers, guiding them through the service experience with clarity and care.

Must be willing to work Saturdays; responsibilities include scheduling, vehicle walkarounds, documenting concerns, and creating repair orders with transparent estimates. Competitive, experience-based compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing sales experience required.
• Automotive Service Advisor experience is a plus (dealership preferred).
• Xtime and CDK experience a plus.
• Strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to achieve targeted goals.
• Fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage service appointments for efficient customer experience.
• Greet customers, perform vehicle walkarounds, and document concerns and service needs.
• Create detailed repair orders with transparent cost and time estimates.
• Recommend maintenance and additional services based on vehicle condition and guidelines.
• Communicate with technicians and parts to prioritize work and timely completion.
• Provide updates to customers on repair status, timelines, and changes in scope/cost.
• Deliver vehicles after service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain product and warranty knowledge to guide service recommendations.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive retention.
