Job summary

Group 1 Bob Howard Honda is expanding and seeks a Service Advisor to guide customers through their service experience with clarity and care. You will be a key contact, building trust and delivering transparent repair recommendations in a team-driven setting.

This position requires excellent communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment. Saturdays are required and comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing sales experience is required (retail, outside sales, hospitality, etc.).
• Automotive Service Advisor experience is a big plus (dealership preferred).
• Xtime & CDK experience is a plus.
• Strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and must maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage service appointments to ensure an efficient and seamless customer experience.
• Greet customers, perform vehicle walkarounds, and accurately document concerns and service needs.
• Create detailed repair orders with clear, transparent cost and time estimates.
• Recommend maintenance and additional services based on vehicle condition, mileage, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with technicians and parts departments to prioritize work and ensure timely completion.
• Provide consistent updates to customers on repair status, timelines, and any changes to scope or cost.
• Deliver vehicles upon completion, reviewing work performed and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong product and warranty knowledge to confidently guide customers through service recommendations.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive retention and repeat business.
