Group 1 Bob Howard Nissan is seeking a Service Advisor to join a high-performing team. You will be a key point of contact guiding customers through their service experience with clarity and care, building trust and delivering transparent estimates.

The position requires strong customer-focused communication, willingness to work Saturdays, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced automotive service environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing sales experience is required (retail, outside sales, hospitality, etc.)
• Automotive Service Advisor experience is a big plus (dealership preferred)
• Xtime & CDK experience is a plus
• Strong desire to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to achieve targeted goals
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid in-state driver’s license and must maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage service appointments to ensure an efficient and seamless customer experience
• Greet customers, perform vehicle walkarounds, and accurately document concerns and service needs
• Create detailed repair orders with clear, transparent cost and time estimates
• Recommend maintenance and additional services based on vehicle condition, mileage, and manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate effectively with technicians and parts departments to prioritize work and ensure timely completion
• Provide consistent updates to customers on repair status, timelines, and any changes to scope or cost
• Deliver vehicles upon completion, reviewing work performed and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain strong product and warranty knowledge to confidently guide customers through service recommendations
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive retention and repeat business
