Don Johnson's Ladysmith Motors is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our service team in Ladysmith, WI. This role, also known as a Service Writer or Service Consultant, focuses on informing and guiding guests through their vehicle service experience.

You’ll be the connection between guests and technicians, writing repair orders, explaining needs, and delivering timely updates. A strong emphasis on customer service and organization helps keep the service lane moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service experience is preferred, but we are open to strong customer service or sales backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to explain vehicle needs and repair options to guests clearly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive first impression.
• Listen to vehicle concerns and document them clearly.
• Review service history and recommend factory-scheduled maintenance.
• Write accurate repair orders for technicians.
• Prepare and communicate estimates, timelines, and repair recommendations.
• Explain technician findings in a clear, helpful, and professional way.
• Keep guests updated throughout the repair process.
• Coordinate with technicians, parts, and service leadership.
• Review completed repair orders for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Help ensure each guest receives a great experience with no regrets.
