Job summary

Stateline Subaru of Somerset is seeking a Service Advisor to engage with customers, schedule and sell vehicle service work, and upsell repairs. This role emphasizes our commitments to Service Excellence, Transparency, and Building Long-Term Relationships.

Two or more years of experience as an automotive service writer, strong communication and superb customer service are required. Subaru experience and Reynolds and Reynolds familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience as an automotive service writer.
• Organized and superior customer service skills.
• Fantastic communication skills.
• Subaru experience preferred.
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and collect essential customer and vehicle data.
• Perform a comprehensive walk-around with the customer and document observations.
• Provide accurate written estimates for labor and parts and obtain customer authorization.
• Communicate status updates and any changes in costs or completion times.
• Close repair orders after payment and ensure customer receives a copy.
