Job summary

Toyota of Jackson is seeking a Service Advisor to serve as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring needs are understood and the repairs are clearly communicated. You will prepare repair orders, obtain signatures, and enter RO into the service database system at our on-site dealership.

We value a polished professional demeanor, teamwork, and the ability to explain technical terms to customers.

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Polished and professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
Ability to translate technical terms to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
