Job summary

Preston Automotive Group is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians in our service department. You will explain technician recommendations, propose necessary maintenance, and ensure vehicle safety.

You’ll take ownership of customer care and actively participate in the service lane. In this role, you’ll greet customers, perform walk-arounds, provide time estimates, and maintain ongoing communication about vehicle status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years experience required.
• Ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to achieve personal goals.
• Attention to detail.
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Constant follow up before and after the service visit.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers when they arrive and focus on their needs.
• Perform a vehicle walk-around and inspect vehicles.
• Provide estimates of service duration.
• Advise customers on maintenance or repairs to keep vehicles safe.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals.
• Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.
