Job summary

AAA Club Alliance seeks an Automotive Service Advisor to bridge customers and in-shop technicians. The role greets customers, schedules appointments, explains repairs, and tracks approvals and costs. You will coordinate with technicians, assist with warranty processes, and arrange transportation when needed.

A strong sales and service mindset is essential. Requirements include a high school diploma, automotive knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive industry or 3 years in a fast-paced, sales/customer-satisfaction role.
• Knowledge of automotive technology and ability to communicate it to customers and technicians.
• ASE Service Advisor Certification is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings and to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer calls and schedule appointments promptly and courteously.
• Review repairs and services with customers to ensure understanding.
• Notify customers of deviations from estimates and timeframes.
• Note approvals for orders and any additional costs.
• Distribute work to shop technicians and monitor progress.
• Provide requested information to technicians; assist with warranty arrangements.
• Arrange towing or alternate transportation as needed per TRC standards.
• Monitor vehicle inspection dates to complete them on schedule.
• Inform customers when servicing is due per manufacturer intervals.
