Job summary

The Hutchinson Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate will meet with customers, determine their needs for repair or service, and provide excellent customer service while upholding our standards of ethics and professionalism.

You will oversee the service process and communicate progress to customers throughout the day. Experience as an automotive service advisor and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control.
• Automotive service advisor experience.
• English reading/writing/speaking fluency.
• Ability to concentrate and multitask.
• Proficient use of computers/business machines.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues.
• Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations.
• Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices and professional image.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle and update customers frequently.
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales and executing retail promotions.
• Oversee technicians, including time management, parts ordering, and job completion times.
• Oversee and participate in quality control.
• Participate in development of standard operating procedures as appropriate.
