Job summary

The Hutchinson Automotive Group in Forsyth, GA is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. You will meet with customers to determine repair and service needs, provide outstanding customer service, and help ensure quality control across all vehicles.

The ideal candidate has automotive service advisor experience, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and accreditation in service advisor skills, with strong communication and multitasking abilities to support our

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid commercial driver's license with clean driving record.
• Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction and quality control.
• Automotive service advisor experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Multitasking ability and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and determine their repair and/or service needs for their vehicles.
• Increase customer satisfaction by building strong customer relations.
• Maintain Hutchinson Automotive Group standards for ethics, professionalism, and service quality.
• Monitor vehicle progress and update customers frequently.
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales and executing retail promotions.
• Oversee technicians, including time management, parts ordering, and job completion times.
• Participate in quality control and develop/ document SOPs as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
• Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations
• Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service, and good employee and community relations
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales & executing retail promotions
• Oversee technicians working on customers’ vehicles, including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times
• Oversee and participate in quality control
• Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid commercial driver’s license & clean driving record
• Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control
• Automotive service advisor experience
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions
• Multitasking skills
• Proficient use of computers/business machines
