Job summary

Major Automotive in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a full-time, Monday–Friday role with no weekends. You’ll greet customers, present repairs, build estimates, and guide inspections from write-up to vehicle pickup.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in service advising, strong automotive knowledge, proven sales and service skills, and exceptional communication. This is a high-volume shop with performance-based pay and solid benefits.

Responsibilities

• Review technician inspections and clearly explain recommended repairs.
• Build estimates and confidently present repair and maintenance recommendations.
• Follow up with customers and keep them informed throughout the repair process.
• Build long-term relationships based on trust, communication, and consistency.
• Work closely with technicians to maintain an efficient shop workflow.
• Prioritize vehicles and help keep technicians productive.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and customer records.
• Help deliver a smooth, professional experience from write-up to vehicle pickup.

About the Position

Major Automotive, a fast-growing independent repair shop in Plano, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor who knows how to take care of customers, communicate value, and produce results.

This is not an entry-level advisor position.

We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of professional automotive service advising experience who is confident on the phone, understands vehicle repair, can effectively present technician findings, and knows how to turn great inspections into great customer experiences.

You’ll have a professional shop, strong technicians, quality inspections, training, and the opportunity to earn based on your performance.
