Job summary

Diehl CDJR of Grove City is actively seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our Grove City, PA service team. You will be the primary liaison between customers and technicians, guiding them through maintenance and repairs with clear, transparent communication.

You will greet customers, document symptoms, prepare estimates, and maintain ongoing updates while fostering long-term relationships and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service advisor or related customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram or Stellantis brands is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain vehicle needs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and professionally.

Diehl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Grove City is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service department.

If you're an experienced service advisor who knows how to build customer relationships, communicate repair recommendations clearly, and keep a busy service drive running smoothly, we want to talk with you.

As a Service Advisor, you'll serve as the primary connection between our customers and automotive technicians. You'll help customers understand their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs while ensuring they receive professional, timely, and transparent service from arrival through vehicle delivery.

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and professionally

• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms

• Prepare repair orders and service estimates

• Review recommended maintenance and repairs with customers

• Explain technician findings in clear, customer-friendly language

• Obtain customer authorization for repairs and additional services

• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process

• Provide accurate updates regarding repair status and completion times

• Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, warranty administrators, and service management

• Schedule maintenance and repair appointments

• Review completed repair orders with customers

• Explain invoices, warranty coverage, and recommended future maintenance

• Follow up with customers to help ensure satisfaction

• Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat service business

• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records

• Help achieve dealership customer satisfaction, productivity, and service sales goals

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service advisor, service writer, dealership service consultant, or automotive customer service experience is preferred

• Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, or Stellantis dealership experience is a plus

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to explain automotive maintenance and repairs clearly

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership service environment

• Basic computer and dealership software skills

• Sales-oriented mindset without sacrificing customer service

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented
