Diehl Ford of Beaver is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join the busy dealership service department in Beaver Falls, PA. You will be the primary link between customers and technicians, helping to determine service needs, create repair orders, and communicate repair status.

Diehl of Beaver is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our busy dealership service department. We are looking for a motivated automotive professional with excellent customer service skills who can communicate effectively with customers and technicians while helping keep our service department running efficiently.

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities

As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and automotive technicians. Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers and determine their vehicle service and repair needs
• Create and manage repair orders
• Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle symptoms
• Recommend scheduled maintenance and necessary vehicle repairs
• Provide customers with repair estimates and service recommendations
• Explain automotive repairs and maintenance in clear, understandable terms
• Communicate with technicians regarding diagnosis, repairs, and vehicle status
• Keep customers informed throughout the service and repair process
• Obtain customer authorization for recommended repairs
• Schedule service appointments and customer follow-ups
• Review completed repair orders for accuracy
• Assist customers with warranty and maintenance questions
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records
• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business
• Help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred
• Dealership service department experience is a plus
• Automotive repair and vehicle maintenance knowledge preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills
• Ability to explain automotive repairs and recommendations to customers
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced automotive service department
• Experience with dealership management systems or automotive service software is a plus
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
