Job summary

Bob Bell Nissan/Kia is seeking a Service Advisor in Baltimore to provide exceptional customer service, assess vehicle concerns, and guide customers through the service process. You will communicate with technicians, prepare estimates, and help manage work orders with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of service-advisor experience in the automotive industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to upsell where appropriate, in a busy dealership

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven service advisor or related customer service experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and communicate updates throughout the service process.

Responsibilities

& Qualifications:

Customer Interaction & Customer Service:

A friendly, helpful, and professional attitude is crucial for creating a positive customer experience.Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and maintain consistent communication throughout the service process.

Vehicle Assessment:

Help determine vehicle issues by questioning the customer, performing visual inspections, and coordinating with technicians.

Technical Communication:

Explain vehicle problems and recommended services in a clear, understandable way to customers.

Repair Coordination:

Prepare repair orders, provide accurate cost and time estimates, and obtain customer approval for all work.

Sales and Follow-Up:

Schedule appointments, manage work orders, and upsell additional products or services when appropriate and follow up with customers to maintain relationships.

Automotive Knowledge:

A strong understanding of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance is necessary to effectively communicate with technicians and advise customers.

Organizational Skills:

The ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage schedules is vital.

Computer Proficiency:

Basic computer literacy and attention to detail required. Experience with automotive service software such as CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.

Experience:

Proven experience in a service advisor role or a similar customer service position within the automotive industry of at least 2 years.
