Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable driving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service, sales, or retail experience.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; CA driver's license within 30 days.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers who visit the dealership, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and preferences.
• Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and pricing to match customer needs.
• Offer test drives to all prospects; follow procedures to obtain proper identification prior to test drive.
• Guide customers through the entire sales process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and closing the sale.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, including detailed quotes and trade-in evaluations.
• Negotiate terms and finalize agreements in alignment with dealership policies and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the dealership’s vehicle inventory and benefits.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new model releases, and competitive products.
• Provide accurate information and advice on vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address additional needs.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals and targets.
• Track and report on sales performance, including leads, responses, and customer feedback.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and performance.
• Process sales paperwork, including contracts, vehicle registrations, and financing applications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with the finance department to ensure smooth processing of transactions and approvals.
• Represent the dealership in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Participate in dealership events, promotions, and community activities to promote the dealership and its offerings.
• Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
• Maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
