Job summary

Momentum BMW MINI, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is seeking a Product Specialist to educate guests on vehicle innovations and ownership benefits. You will tailor experiences by assessing customer priorities and demonstrating features to build trust and loyalty.

Responsibilities include staying current on product knowledge, guiding customers through ownership clinics, and supporting sales and service staff with key technologies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform at a minimum volume according to dealership standards.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• All applicants must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides a pressure-free ownership experience and explains the benefits and value of innovations.
• Assesses customer knowledge and priorities to personalize the ownership experience.
• Explains and demonstrates vehicle features and technologies to improve comfort and retention.
• Acquires and maintains total product knowledge and compares competitors' features and benefits.
• Keeps up to date on new products and their benefits to clients.
• Follows up with customers within 1–2 weeks after delivery to answer questions or run clinics.
• Directs customers to additional information resources.
• Visits the customer lounge to introduce services and share vehicle technology insights.
• Trains sales and service staff on key technologies and how to explain them to customers.
• Conducts new owner clinics.
• Answers product questions by telephone and during walk-ins.
• Troubleshoots vehicle technology features.
