Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management in daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The role includes greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, processing transactions, handling returns, and maintaining inventory. Training will be provided, and opportunities for career growth exist within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desired familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, Weatherly Index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise choices.
• Support store management and installer service staff as needed.
• Provide phone support, lookup parts and quote prices.
• Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Handle exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with stock updates, planograms, and inventory tasks.
• Operate test equipment after training and company requirements.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, advise customers).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
