Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers and support store management in daily tasks.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, processing transactions, handling exchanges/returns, and performing daily store operations. Bilingual skills are encouraged and the role may include driving deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Support professional customers and installers in service tasks.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and returns per policy.
• Answer store phone calls, look up parts, provide quotes and suggest related items.
• Maintain cash drawer securely and process exchanges/returns,
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, and stocking duties.
• Perform in-store services as allowed by state/local laws (e.g., install wipers, test batteries).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if business needs require.
