Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks a Parts Coordinator to ensure a exceptional customer experience by managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. You will verify accuracy and quality of parts received in a timely manner aligned with production schedules.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and experience with automotive parts. Proficiency in MIS systems and parts sourcing tools is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts.
• Customer Service Oriented and strong organizational ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritize tasks.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Communicate all customer requests to team members.
• Order and receive parts, verify quality and quantity for repair orders.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop per production schedule.
• Enter parts invoices into MIS.
• Label and track parts by RO# and store with vehicle.
• Manage supplemental parts in MIS and monitor vendor invoices.
• Post and file invoices/credit memos promptly.
• Ensure negotiated discounts to maintain profit margins.
