Job summary

Puget Collision in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Parts Coordinator to manage daily parts ordering and processing for vehicle repairs. You will ensure correct parts are available for technicians to maintain production flow and meet repair timeframes, while supporting estimators with parts needs.

The role requires accurate data entry, 5S organization, quick handling of returns and credits, and the ability to communicate with technicians, estimators, vendors, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Collision University Training required within first 6 months of employment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards.
• Ability to operate inventory management systems and related office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Check-in all received parts and match to Repair Orders and vehicles.
• Process returns promptly and document credits for damaged or incorrect parts.
• Keep the delivery area organized and parts cart up-to-date with current CCC parts list.
• Post invoices and credits in real time; draft invoices when no line on the estimate.
• Maintain Daily Parts Owed list by reviewing scheduled repair orders.
• Ensure parts ETA aligns with the daily production schedule; schedule sublet items as needed.
• Request sublet vendor work and ensure invoices are posted to RO.
• Assist Estimators with ordering required parts and ensure availability on first try.
• Support shop efficiency through parts picking, vehicle delivery, and minor cleaning tasks.
