Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers. This role supports store management and may require bilingual (Spanish) skills to enhance customer interactions.

You will handle inquiries, pricing, and related selling while maintaining a friendly and efficient store environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, resolving complaints, and assisting with stock, planograms, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling phone and in-store customers simultaneously.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, Weatherly index system, ASE certification a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist retail and installer customers with merchandise selection.
• Support store management and complete assigned tasks.
• Answer store phone calls, lookup parts and quote prices, promote related items.
• Process cash, checks, credit cards; handle exchanges and returns per policy.
• Resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with image maker, planogram updates, stocking, and fronting.
• Perform daily operational tasks and occasional deliveries as needed.
