Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers. The role supports store management in daily tasks, including merchandising, checkout, and customer assistance.

Qualified candidates will provide friendly service, accurately process payments, and participate in training. Bilingual abilities are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (desired).
• ASE certification (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Greet customers promptly in a friendly, courteous manner and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installers in serving professional customers as needed.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policy.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts and quote prices, and offer related items and the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept payments, and process transactions.
• Assist with stocking, planogram updates, and daily store operations.
• Perform in-store services and drive deliveries as needed where permitted by law.
