Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to both retail and installer customers while assisting store management with tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will be valued for customer interactions and support across departments.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist retail and installer customers with merchandise choices.
• Support managers and installer service specialists for professional customers.
• Answer store phone calls per policy, look up parts and quote prices, and promote related items.
• Handle cash, checks, and card transactions and secure the cash drawer.
• Process exchanges and returns per company policy and issue credit.
• Assist with planogram updates, stocking, and image maker tasks.
• Perform daily operational tasks including stock counts and cycle counts.
• Operate store equipment after training and company requirements are met.
• Provide in-store services such as wiper installation, battery tests, and light repairs.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs require.
• All other duties as assigned.
