Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and contribute to a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

The role involves greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, handling cash and transactions, and performing daily stock and planogram tasks to keep shelves organized and accessible.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in selection of merchandise.
• Promote customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
• Assist installers and professionals as needed.
• Answer store calls and lookup parts and quote prices.
• Process transactions and handle cash, checks, and cards.
• Handle exchanges/returns per policy.
• Address and resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with stock, planograms, and image updates.
• Perform daily operational tasks and stock adjustments.
• Operate store test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (wipers, batteries, codes, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
