Job summary

Krause Auto Group is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide responsive technology support for our Myrtle Beach-area dealership operations. This on-site role resolves day-to-day issues, prepares devices, and supports onboarding with access tasks.

The position requires strong Windows/M365 knowledge, good communication, and the ability to travel between locations as needed. Growth opportunities exist within the IT team.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hands-on IT support or desktop support.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, Outlook, printers, and user support.
• Experience with device setup, software deployment, and basic networking concepts.
• Comfortable assisting non-technical users in a fast-paced business environment.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple requests and document work.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and remote support for employees across dealership locations.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows PC, printer, Wi-Fi, software, and connectivity issues.
• Prepare, deploy, replace, and maintain computers, monitors, phones, and IT equipment.
• Support onboarding/offboarding by preparing devices and managing access tasks.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 user support including Outlook, Teams, passwords, MFA, and basic access issues.
• Support desk phones, mobile devices, and related phone-system requests.
• Create and maintain ticket notes, asset/inventory records, and docs.
• Follow IT security standards for access control and device handling.
• Identify recurring issues and escalate high-impact incidents promptly.
• Assist with local projects, site moves, and device refreshes.
