Job summary

Krause Auto Group in Myrtle Beach, SC is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on tech support for dealership operations. You will resolve day-to-day issues, prepare and support devices, assist with user access and phone systems, and maintain IT standards across locations.

The role requires strong Windows/M365 knowledge, customer-focused communication, and the ability to work on-site with occasional local travel. Growth opportunities exist within the IT team.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, Outlook, printers, and basic networking.
• Experience with device setup, software deployment, account support, and networking concepts.
• Able to assist non-technical users in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization and communication; travel between locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and remote support for employees across dealership locations.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows PCs, printers, and connectivity issues.
• Prepare, deploy, and maintain computers, monitors, phones, and IT equipment.
• Support onboarding/offboarding by preparing devices and access tasks.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 support, including Outlook, Teams, passwords, MFA.
• Support desk phones, mobile devices and phone-system requests.
• Document ticket notes, inventory, and basic technical docs.
• Follow IT security standards and escalation procedures.
• Identify recurring issues and escalate high-impact incidents.
• Assist Systems Team with local projects and device refreshes.
