Job summary

DeYarman Auto Group in Ames is seeking an Internet Manager to handle internet customers via phone, text, email and in person, moving them through a vehicle transaction. We offer high-traffic leads and thorough training so you can succeed from day one.

Earn up to $100,000+ with base pay plus commission and bonuses, plus benefits. No prior automotive internet experience required—we will train the right candidate for a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Automotive internet experience preferred but not required; sales experience in any industry will be considered.
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday.
• Conviction towards providing the best possible customer experience while working towards the close of a deal.
• Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections.
• Quality customer service skills and sales track record.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects via phone, text, email, and in person with the ability to progress customers through a transaction.
• Continued Training of all the Stellantis products.
• Work towards setting appointments, presenting products in a knowledgeable and professional way, and getting commitments from customers to close deals on shown appointments.
• Manage own pipeline of customers creating appointments from opportunities.
• Assists customers in selecting a vehicle.
• Checks email frequently and responds to inquiries immediately.
• Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly.
• Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
• Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
• Attends product and sales training as requested by sales manager.
• Attends sales meetings.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
• Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
• Attends product and sales training as requested by sales manager.
• Attends sales meetings.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre‑employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
