Job summary

Northern Stamping Inc. in Valley View, OH, is seeking a Recruiter / Administrative Specialist to support HR by coordinating recruiting, onboarding, and general admin activities in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

You will manage hourly recruiting, post openings, conduct screens, coordinate interviews, and help with new-hire paperwork and onboarding. Strong organization, confidentiality, and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting, HR, administrative, or related experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience recruiting hourly manufacturing employees is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting activities for hourly manufacturing and selected salaried positions.
• Post openings on job boards and recruiting platforms.
• Review applications to identify qualified candidates.
• Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Schedule interviews, plant tours, and pre-employment activities.
• Maintain regular candidate communication throughout the process.
• Prepare and extend employment offers as directed by HR.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screens).
• Partner with supervisors to understand staffing needs and priorities.
• Assist with job fairs, referrals, and other recruiting initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with local schools and staffing agencies.
