Stolle Machinery Co., LLC is seeking an HR Generalist in North Canton, OH to support multiple business units. You will lead recruiting for exempt/nonexempt roles, students, and temporary staff, and advise managers on interviewing, promotions, and performance management.

With guidance from the HR Director, you will administer compensation, support policy development, and ensure compliant HR processes across locations. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 years minimum of HR experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Equivalent combination of education and HR experience considered.
• High school diploma/GED with 4–6 years HR experience (as applicable).
• Intermediate Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong recruiting background required.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll/timekeeping/ATS; ADP systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple units across locations and maintain confidentiality.
• Professional certification preferred: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP.

Responsabilités

• Lead recruiting for exempt and nonexempt roles, students, and temporary staff.
• Advise managers on interviewing, hiring, promotions, performance reviews, and separations.
• Administer compensation programs and promote consistent practices.
• Manage performance management program for effectiveness and equity.
• Support HR plans, policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
• Research HR program improvements and complete special projects.
• Provide guidance on workplace concerns and policy interpretation.
• Support employee relations and workplace investigations.
• Maintain confidential employee records and retention compliance.
• Coordinate payroll/benefits data changes and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, changes, transfers, promotions, separations.
• Ensure timely completion of forms, approvals, and system updates.
• Partner with managers to deliver a consistent employee experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
