Job summary

Northern Stamping, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter / Administrative Specialist to support the HR team in Valley View, Ohio. The role focuses on coordinating recruiting, onboarding, and general HR administration in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting.

The candidate should be highly organized, professional, and capable of handling confidential information while communicating effectively with employees, candidates, supervisors, and managers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting or HR experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting hourly manufacturing employees is a plus.
• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS/ATS is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting for hourly manufacturing and salaried positions.
• Post jobs on boards and recruiting platforms; screen applications.
• Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews.
• Schedule interviews, plant tours, and pre-employment activities.
• Maintain candidate communications and HR records.
• Assist with onboarding, new-hire paperwork, and orientation.
• Support HR with data entry, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors to understand staffing needs.
• Participate in job fairs and recruiting events.
