Job summary

Global Connect Technologies seeks an experienced HIL Validation Engineer to lead test development, execution, and validation for automotive embedded ECUs. You will configure HIL benches, build test scenarios, and perform root-cause analysis across CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and UDS networks.

You will collaborate with software, controls, and hardware teams, support regression testing, and contribute to continuous integration efforts. A strong background in embedded automotive testing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years in automotive embedded testing/validation.
• Hands-on experience with HIL testing and validation.
• Strong understanding of ECU testing and embedded software validation.
• Experience with CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and UDS.
• Experience developing test cases, validation plans, and procedures.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with embedded automotive ECUs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain HIL validation test cases for ECUs and embedded systems.
• Configure and operate HIL test benches for ECU integration and system-level validation.
• Develop test scenarios covering normal operation, fault conditions, boundary conditions, and failure modes.
• Perform automated and manual testing of embedded automotive software.
• Integrate ECUs with HIL systems and validate interfaces.
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Debug ECU communication, software, hardware, and integration issues.
• Work with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and UDS protocols.
• Develop and maintain simulation models for sensors, actuators, and vehicle networks.
• Validate ECU behavior under various operating/fault conditions.
• Create test reports, defect reports, and validation summaries.
• Collaborate with software, controls, systems, hardware, and calibration teams.
• Support CI/CD and regression testing.
