Global Connect Technologies in Mossville, Illinois is seeking an experienced HIL Test Lead to guide hardware-in-the-loop testing for automotive embedded systems. You will shape test strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive validation efforts end-to-end.

The role requires 5+ years in HIL testing, strong skills with dSPACE HIL, MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe/CANalyzer, and hands-on ECU validation. You will mentor engineers, analyze results, and ensure ASPICE/ISO 26262 compliance.

Qualifications

5+ years in HIL testing / automotive embedded validation.
Strong experience with dSPACE HIL, MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe/CANalyzer.
Experience leading or mentoring a validation/testing team.

Responsibilities

Lead HIL test planning, strategy, execution, and reporting.
Develop and review test cases, test scenarios, and automated test scripts.
Configure and maintain HIL test benches and simulation environments.
Perform ECU validation using tools such as dSPACE, CANoe/CANalyzer, MATLAB/Simulink, and related HIL platforms.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
Coordinate with Software, Systems, Hardware, and Validation teams to resolve defects.
Support CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, and other automotive communication testing.
Track defects and testing progress using Jira and ALM systems.
Mentor HIL test engineers and provide technical guidance.
Ensure compliance with automotive development and testing processes such as ASPICE and ISO 26262.
