Job summary

Global Connect Technologies seeks an experienced HIL Test Engineer to drive validation of automotive ECUs using dSPACE hardware and HIL software. You will develop test plans, implement scripts, and analyze results to ensure robust powertrain and communication functionality.

In this on-site role in Auburn Hills, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain test environments, and contribute to improving test coverage and automation strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HIL testing and validation.
• Hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL systems.
• Experience with ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, and ConfigurationDesk.
• Strong knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, LIN, UDS, and automotive communication.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Python or CAPL scripting for test automation.
• Experience in ECU testing, debugging, and validation.
• Knowledge of automotive powertrain/vehicle systems.
• Ability to analyze test results and perform root-cause analysis.
• Experience with test case development, execution, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HIL test plans for automotive ECUs.
• Configure and validate dSPACE HIL setups.
• Create and maintain test scripts in MATLAB/Simulink or CAPL.
