Job summary

Major Automotive, a fast-growing independent shop in Downtown Plano, seeks a personable Front Counter Assistant to support the Lead Service Advisor and front-office operations.

You will welcome customers, coordinate check-ins/outs, create repair orders, and document technician findings, while delivering an exceptional customer experience. No prior Service Advisor experience is required; we provide training and growth into a Service Advisor role in a professional, family-owned environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a friendly first impression.
• Build relationships through conversation, active listening, and personalized service.
• Manage customer check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Create and maintain accurate repair orders (ROs).
• Build and organize Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) using technician findings.
• Assist the Lead Advisor with estimates, repair order preparation, and administrative tasks.
