Duval Ford, a family-owned dealership, seeks a motivated Freight Broker/Logistics Specialist for Duval Fleet Logistics in Jacksonville. You will develop new freight brokerage opportunities while coordinating day-to-day logistics, including automotive shipments, carrier qualification, and rate negotiations.

The role blends sales, prospecting, and operational execution in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organization and customer-focused communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in freight brokerage, logistics coordination, or transportation sales.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience with automotive logistics or vehicle transport (preferred).
• Knowledge of freight brokerage systems or TMS platforms (preferred).
• Existing shipper or carrier relationships (preferred).
• Experience working in a high-volume brokerage or logistics environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: Prospect and develop new shipper relationships through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and industry contacts; Build and manage a pipeline of freight opportunities across automotive, commercial fleet, and general freight sectors; Generate and negotiate freight quotes with shippers; Maintain ongoing relationships with customers to secure repeat business; Identify opportunities to expand Duval Fleet Logistics’ transportation services.
