Job summary

Allen Lund Company is seeking a Transportation Broker to join our fast-paced, team-oriented office. You will manage inbound and outbound shipping logistics, perform daily check calls, and handle customer inquiries while documenting freight bills.

You will acquire new customers, build carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure compliant, efficient logistics. A minimum of 3 years in freight brokerage or customer service, plus a college degree or equivalent experience, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of freight brokerage or customer service experience.
• College degree highly desired or equivalent experience.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers and drive client growth.
• Build relationships with shippers to increase profitable volume.
• Understand customer needs to identify and solve problems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Contact carriers to increase capacity for projects.
• Set and negotiate fair rates with carriers.
• Prepare documentation for freight bills.
