Job summary

Duval Ford is seeking a motivated Freight Broker / Logistics Specialist for our in-house Duval Fleet Logistics division. The role blends sales, carrier sourcing, and logistics coordination to move automotive shipments and other freight efficiently.

You will develop new business while managing day-to-day operations, negotiate rates, schedule pickups/deliveries, and ensure compliance and accurate documentation in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in freight brokerage, logistics coordination, or transportation sales.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new shipper relationships to grow business.
• Source and vet carriers, negotiate rates, and secure capacity.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery scheduling for shipments.
• Track shipments and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain documentation including rate confirmations and BOLs.
