Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to grow dealer partnerships across the assigned territory in the United States. You will own the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging prospects to closing deals, with a focus on high-level decision makers and in-person relationship-building.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of B2B field sales, 3+ years in automotive, and strong experience using Salesforce to manage a robust pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B field sales experience opening net-new accounts.
• 3+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Ability to close deals with high-level decision makers (e.g., Dealer Principals, CEOs, COOs).
• CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline and report activity.
• Willingness to travel widely in the territory.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list of new franchises and independent rooftops.
• Execute high-volume outreach through in-person dealership visits, phone engagement, and local events.
• Qualify prospects using ACV's framework and assess opportunities and decision makers.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand client workflows and relationships.
• Present ACV products using data-driven value propositions.
• Conduct live demos and educate dealers on policies.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements, including pricing structures.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for target accounts and handoffs.
• Record activity in Salesforce for pipeline management and reporting.
• Aim to exceed sales targets and analyze regional market dynamics.
