Charlie Clark Auto Group is seeking a Business Development Center (BDC) Manager to lead and supervise our BDC team, ensuring professional customer communications by phone and email in alignment with the dealership’s standards.

You will recruit, train, and develop BDC staff, analyze buying profiles, run regular reports, and improve call outcomes. This role reports to dealership management and offers growth opportunities within a family of automotive professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience managing BDC teams in automotive settings
• Ability to manage high call volumes and internet leads
• Knowledge of automotive sales and service operations
• Familiarity with CRM and DMS systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily BDC department operations
• Recruit and train BDC staff
• Understand buying profiles and patterns of typical telephone prospects
• Run daily/weekly/monthly reports and track results
• Prepare individual "call results reports" for BDC staff
• Record and listen to customer calls
• Train BDC staff by reviewing recorded/live calls and outcomes
• Determine which customers to contact based on current marketing initiatives
• Review performance and develop staff
• Interface with other department heads
• Participate in dealership management meetings
